Mod Description:
You’ve been told that you have to leave your home planet in 5 minutes and that your new, temporary, home will now be the Mun.

Take as many items as you can on your journey to your new home, but remember you need to be able to land (unless you want to live in a crater!).
The person who lands the most pieces wins!
All mods found HERE are available to use APART FROM the BFE-5000 and the Liquid Fuelled Nacelles Mods (we don’t want to make it too easy now!)
How To Enter
1. You need to take a screenshot and/or video of your flight. The screenshot needs to show the time of your flight and your spacecraft safely landed on the Mun.
2. Use a picture hosting service to upload your photo such as Flickr or Photobucket or if you record a video of your attempt, use a video hosting service such as Youtube to upload your video.
3. Post your picture, or a link to your picture/video in the comments section below. For pictures you can use the tags <@img src="PICTURE URL HERE" /> – just removed that @ symbol first
4. Redesign and go back to step 1.

I landed 6 pieces (no mods). Had just a little fuel left
No return back to Earth…
Don’t worry about returning to earth – just make sure you get there in one piece
Wait…
We can use the TARDIS mod?!

If we can use TARDIS mod parts (which I doubt), then this entry is good:

Flight events (ignore stuff that happened after 5:13:21… I unsuccessfully tried to right the lander)

Part that landed:

The competition says you must “leave your home planet in 5 minutes”. What does this mean, exactly? Leave the atmosphere? Or acheive orbit?
“leave your home planet in 5 minutes” was only just a back story and has nothing to do with the competition itself. Just get your Kerbanauts to the Mun as quickly as you can and with as many parts as you can handle.
Hope this clears things up
Certainly clears things up, thanks a lot
Hello again, I have another query. Is the competition really as simple as to get as many pieces as possible to the surface of the moon without them blowing up? I’m covering a big tank with 84 thrusters. Does that count?
Basically yes. You need to get to the Mun with as many pieces of equipment you can take and land safely.
Thanks again.
I don’t know of this counts as an entry but here are images from my two most recent landings. Both were fully operating landers with ascent/return stage.
