I’ve finely found some time to start making the necessary changes to make this website more user friendly and over the next few weeks I’ll be adding more useful details such as version compatibility as well as removing and updating mods.

Once KSP.NET is back to its former glory I’ll be starting off with a competition, including prizes, so be sure to come back.

The Space 1999 mod is a remake of the classic TV series that aired in the 70′s.

The mod itself features micro nuclear engines as well as high powered hover engines which enable you to easily to get to the Mun and back in one go. The model is well detailed and will make a great addition to your KSP collection.

This mod also required this use of the MechJab plugin which allows you to switch between hover and main engines (or use both a the same time).

Lionhead Aerospace inc. have not only created a fantastic solar rover but have designed several deliverance methods to help you make that perfect landing. The methods include your standard rocket decent as well as airbags and parachutes.

This mod comes with pre-made capsules so you can get stuck into KSP straight away.

My favourite method is the Skycrane which you can watch in action over on our YouTube Channel

The CORE Anvil Rocket is a self contained rocket mod for KSP. It has enough enough power and fuel to get you away from the atmosphere and on your way into deep space.

The separation process is a pure delight to watch and a must see (and try). You can take a look at the mod in action over on our YouTube Channel.

Another great thing about this mod is that the author has kindly added a fully created Anvil rocket to the download so you can jump straight into piloting this beautiful rocket.

The KSP team have taken the gameplay to another level and have brought KSP’s little green men to life. They can now walk on the surface on the planets and moon and also use a jetpack to complete space walks.

As well as this great addition the new release includes some new rockets as well as a few other little parts to add. Along with this comes many bug fixes which you can view here

KSP.NET would like to appologise for the the lack of updates to the website, and to the youtube channel. Computer malfunctions have hampered us over the past few months but we are looking to be fully functional very soon, so please check back soon. Enjoy!

My favourite new feature is that you can now build vehicles horizontally in the Spaceplane Hangar Facility and launch them from a Runway!

Other new features include: -

• The Runway Facility, to launch from and land your spaceplanes at.
• A deployable Landing Gear part
• A new Part Creation Toolset, allowing for animated models, with normal and emmissive maps.
• A new AtmosphericEngine part type, and two new air-breathing engines.
• Added a small, far-flung second moon around Kerbin, called Minmus!

We’ll be releasing a video of the new KSP in action very soon so be sure to come back.

Wood = Fire?

The Wacky Wood Wares mod for Kerbal Space Program is a fully functioning ship that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

…well at least one of them is – Thunderbird 3.

A Thunderbird 3 mod has been released of Kerbal Space Program and it’s looking pretty good!

Capable of being in orbit within a minute (if your a skilled pilot like myself… :s) this mod is a great addition to the game.

At KSP.NET we are certainly hoping that the whole collection will be ready soon!
